I have been meaning to do this review for quite some time because i do like Shaina’s cookbook.
Her book appeals to me on more than one front. I read it through first before I
purchased it and one of the first things I liked was her use of maple syrup and honey as sugar substitutes or just used in recipes I hadn’t used them in before, such as with eggplant. Usually we grill eggplant but this recipe sounded great and interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Another plus for me was Shaina’s bowl recipe with options. You could make it to your specifications. I especially like tweaking recipes, and often add additional items or substitutions when cooking which recipes in this book seemed to lend themselves to.
For example, I have made granola in the past but not for many years so decided to try her tecipe. I added a few extra ingredients of my own and it was delicious. Now I can’t wait to try her chocolate granola recipe.
So, to conclude, I like this cookbook a lot and recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking.
Incidentally, this is the first online cookbook I have purchased, and it is worth it.

I opened my first online cookbook, curious to see what was inside and was pleasantly surprised. The recipes are varied, well organized with clear directions and accompanied by photos that promise a meal not only appealing to the taste buds but to the eye. The recipes I have tried turned out well and I look forward to trying more of them. I tend to use recipes as a palette and make changes according to what I have on hand. These recipes are flexible enough to allow your own creativity.
    Bravo Shaina.

This book is amazing! It’s a life saver when you don’t have much time to cook, the recipes are easy to follow, and relatively fast to make. I love Shaina’s use of simple ingredients, I always have them at hand. My favorite is the Tuna Salad with yogurt, it’s also a husband pleaser!! Thanks Shaina for taking the time to write this book, highly recommended for anyone , specially those who want to start eating healthier.
